VOdds review — trading-terminal broker with order-book-style bets

Overview

VOdds launched in 2016 in Curaçao, operated by Ole Group International B.V. under Curaçao licence 8048/JAZ (Antillephone master). 10 years on, it carved out a specific niche that no other broker has fully matched: a forex-style trading UI over a set of eight-plus sharp Asian books.

What's distinctive about VOdds:

• Order types borrowed from trading desks — Current, Future, and Positional orders let you queue bets like limit orders on a stock exchange.
• Ladder-style bet slip — real-time credit bar, order list, profit/loss chart, scatter plot of your bets.
• 2,000+ weekly events across just three sports (football, tennis, basketball) — specialist depth instead of breadth.
• API-first — the Unity API is one of the most documented / usable in the broker market for algorithmic players.
• €5 minimum deposit — the lowest effective entry point of any serious broker (Asianconnect is €10).

VOdds trading platform

The platform looks forex-inspired on first load. Top bar: credit, accumulated P/L, odds format. Top-left: three sport icons (football, tennis, basketball — that's the full sport list, you're not missing anything). Under sport icons: Favourite / Live / Today / Early tabs.

Main panel: odds panel combining pre-match and in-play events across multiple bookmakers per market. By default you see the main line only; clicking a team expands every available line for that event. Select leagues and matches to filter.

Bottom panel: order list showing all settled + unsettled orders. Filter by order ID, league, or team name. Current Orders and Positional Orders both live here with clear status flags.

Dashboard tabs (accessible from the top):

• My Orders — full bet history with filters.
• Dashboard — P/L statement, 30-day activity, bet scatter plot, chart builder.
• Analytics — performance metrics per league / market / bet size.
• My Positions — open exposure by event.

Themes: dark + light, toggle per user.

Odds formats: European + Hong Kong. Fewer than PremiumTradings' five formats — a notable gap for American or Malay-format natives.

VOdds is mid-migration to a new UI ("Classic" vs "New") — you can toggle between them today; Classic will sunset after a transition window. The new one ships a guided tutorial on first login.

Order types — the differentiator

VOdds' signature feature: three order types borrowed straight from trading desks.

Current Normal Order

A standard bet request: "place X stake at odds Y on event Z". VOdds scans the connected books for best available odds and fills at Y or better. Equivalent to a market order with slippage protection.

Future Normal Order

Place a bet on odds that don't exist yet. Example: "I want to back Arsenal at 2.30; the current best is 2.15". VOdds queues the order and executes automatically if any connected book's price reaches 2.30 or higher. Equivalent to a limit order on a stock exchange.

Positional Order

Two-leg order: an Opening Positional Order (entry bet) followed by a Closing Positional Order (counter-bet / hedge). Used to lock profit or limit loss on positions held through live events. Closing options include:

• Close at best effort — take whatever the market offers at closing.
• Minimum odd / UPL guard — ensure close happens only at odds (or unrealised P/L) at or above a specified floor.

This is as close to a trading terminal as the broker market gets. For bettors who manage positions dynamically, it's a significant advantage.

Connected bookmakers

Sport coverage: football (biggest), tennis, basketball. Full stop. Every market (Asian Handicap, Over/Under, corners, specials, full-time + half-time) exists within those three.
